Accessible Docs

Accessibility statement

This website is run by Accessible Docs, the trading name of Ben Pattison. I want as many people as possible to be able to use it. You should be able to:

  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate the whole site using just a keyboard
  • listen to the site using a screen reader
  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser settings

How accessible this website is

The site is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Text meets the minimum colour contrast, every page has a skip link and a logical heading order, and images have text alternatives. It’s set in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for readers with low vision.

How this site was tested

Tested in October 2026 with the NVDA screen reader, keyboard only, and four automated checkers (IBM Equal Access, axe, HTML CodeSniffer and the W3C validator) at desktop and phone sizes. The site meets WCAG 2.2 AA, and goes further on colour contrast and target size, which meet AAA.

This statement was prepared on 23 October 2026.
